Modern Slavery Policy
The management, staff and owners here at JS Performance are committed to the abolition of modern slavery and human trafficking. This policy supports our commitment to limiting the risk of modern slavery occurring within our own business or infiltrating our supply chains or any other business relationship. The policy applies to all persons working for or on our behalf of our company in any capacity, including employees, directors, officers, contractors, consultants, apprentices, logistics partners and any other third party representative.
We expect all who have, or seek to have a business relationship with our company to familiarise themselves with this policy, and to act at all times in a way that is consistent with its values. We have a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our relationships and business dealings. We implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our own business, or through our wider supply chain.
The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our company or supply chain is the responsibility of all those working for us or under our control. You are required to avoid any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of this policy. Whatever your business relationship with us, you are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue of suspicion of modern slavery in any part of our business, or the supply chains of any supplier tier at the earliest possible convenience. Due to the nature of our business, we assess ourselves to have a low risk of modern slavery internally, and externally in our supply chains.
We strive to encourage openness and honesty, and will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith under this policy, even if they turn out to be mistaken. We are committed to ensuring no one suffers any detrimental treatment as a result of reporting in good faith their suspicion that modern slavery is (or may be) taking place in any part of our own business or in any part of our supply chain. If you believe that you have suffered any such treatment, you should inform us or your superior immediately.
Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery must be communicated to all suppliers, contractors and business partners at the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate thereafter. We are within our rights to terminate any relationship with individuals, partner companies, suppliers or anyone working on our behalf of our company if they breach this policy, and any employee doing so will face disciplinary action. This statement will be reviewed and updated annually, so please check back and ensure your complicance.
